Does it mean the deadline for the interview invites or the interview invites will start to roll out after 10th Nov?

All get notified but not straight rejection, they say you are not invited at this point (which effectively is a rejection in most cases)

So everyone declined for an interview without a final decision is in a way waitlisted with a very low probability to convert?

Unlike a traditional waitlist, is there any action that can be taken to remedy the application? Can any folks from the prior years comment on this?

The email says the following verbatim:

"Please note that this is not a final decision on your application; you will receive your final admission decision on -------------. Your application remains under review at this time. While we do require a completed interview for admission, it is possible that you would be invited to interview later in this round or in a following round. If your interview status should change, our office will notify you directly via email."

I just filed for withdrawing my application. I am not going to contribute to the school's lies.

I know that Duke is one of those universities that relies heavily on the acceptance rate. This attitude of theirs to not give a proper ding is nerve wrecking.

Also, I have hardly ever seen a person with a "not accepted for now" mail convert without a higher GMAT than the one used to apply.
