No quant resource came close to GMAT Club and Bunuel’s fantastic questions. They were different from the published GMAT questions - whereas
MGMAT and
Magoosh were derivative of padt questions - but nevertheless relevant, tricky, and (very importantly) accurate. If this post is anything, it is a love letter to Bunuel.
The verbal resources for the various non-official sources are ok at the introductory level, but many are inaccurate when it comes to the harder questions - much of their difficulty is derived from just being wrong. The question writers invent all sorts of silly rules along the lines of not using a pronoun to refer to a subject that follows a preposition, not using which to refer to a whole clause rather than as merely an appositive etc. Avoid harder
Magoosh and
MGMAT verbal questions.
The
MGMAT and
Magoosh CATS were not necessarily harder, but required more calculation and were therefore more time-pressured.
