Hi kubekzlota,

To start, the OG books are great sources for practice questions, but they're not designed to teach you Tactics, patterns or the little 'secrets' behind the GMAT - for those, you'll need Course-oriented materials. This is meant to say that you should purchase a recent version of the main GMAT Official Guide (it does not have to be the 2021 version though) - and that you should work on the OG a little later on in your studies. In addition, the scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. Since that algorithm is proprietary, no GMAT company has an exact match for it, thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. Taking individual sections of the Test isn't a proper way to assess your actual 'ability level'; so you should plan to take FULL-LENGHT CATs/mocks at regular intervals (this will help to define how effective your studies are and define areas that you might not realize that you need to work on). To that end, if you have been studying for the last 2 weeks, then you might consider taking a NEW CAT sometime soon (perhaps this weekend). You can access 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). Once you have that Score, you should post back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can discuss the results and how you might best proceed with your studies.

Before I can offer you any additional advice, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on your timeline and your goals:

1) Since you are currently in School, how many hours do you think you can consistently study for the GMAT each week?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
