I will just say that I applied to most schools in R2, and as an Indian, I now feel that it was too late: I should have applied in the early round/R1 itself.

I’d recommend you strongly not to apply in R3. Its too late for international students. If you get in, your visa processing may not come through on time. But, more important, chances of getting in would be very bleak. The adcom would already have a big pool of Indian admitted students and that will remarkably diminish your chances of selection

I agree haha I applied in r2 and felt that I missed the boat already for a few schools.

I will just say that I applied to most schools in R2, and as an Indian, I now feel that it was too late: I should have applied in the early round/R1 itself.

Agreed. Only exception is Canadians Re:visa. I have a client from Toronto who applied R4 Darden and got in with $.

they released decisions by 9:00 am that day (us central). About 5 min before they sent the email

Yes; sometimes they do a waiver. Really hard to pin down conversion rate obs much much lower than other schools because they try to interview everyone.
