he or she needed to make his or her application EXTRA EXTRA awesome for them to send him an invite on Christmas. I guess he or she only made it EXTRA special, thus the Jan 1 invite.

I did receive my Tuck interview invite on a Sunday in October Wouldn’t be too surprised if the Jan 1 invite was real

I submitted on the deadline day in R1 and received the invite a few days later

How many days gap between the invite and interview ?

I looked into my emails. Received my invite on October 3 which was a Sunday. Submitted R1 deadline day. Eventually admitted. Hope it helps.

Does Tuck interview every applicant? I applied on the 23rd of December for the R2 deadline (that was due to close on 3rd Jan) but got an interview invite on the 2nd of Jan. Gave me the option to select my interview date via a calendar.
