I'm retaking the GMAT this week and have an invitation from GMAC to try their exclusive pilot program.

I'm definitely going to select AWA as the last section and IR as the third.

But I am still confused about what section I should answer first - Verbal/Quant?

I'm not particularly strong in Verbal or Quant. Last time I got Q48V40.
I've noticed that both of them need you to have a fresh mind. What do you think is the best section order and why?
You already have a great score and admit from a good school (if you have updated the status correctly. The year is a bit off).
So I was wondering why you were retaking the test :)

My suggestion would be to go for the Quants section first and then the Verbal section.
A fresh mind would ensure that you do not make any silly mistakes and loose some easy points.

All the best!
Do let us know how did it go.

Thank you very much for the replies. I think I'll go for the Quants section first then!
720 is definitely not a bad score. But my application pool (Indian male still studying undergrad) is really competitive and I want to get everything right.

I got selected to the YLP program in ISB, which is very similar to the Harvard 2+2 in the sense that we need to work for 2 years before actually starting the programme.

Hi,

What worked me for me was QVRA !

I first took GMAT on 7th Jan, in the regular pattern and scored a dismal 650 (Q 50, V 27). As the verbal score is terribly low I decided to re-take the GMAT. A few days later, I received the email from GMAC giving option of selecting the order - I chose QVRA,and booked exam on the first day of this trial 23rd Feb 2016.

I ended up scoring a 760 (Q50, V41).

took my QVRA and scored q44 and verbal 23 =))) lol even being drunk i can get above 30. dunno really =(

ir 7. in awa interestingly i was fresh. cancelled. after verbal was done i felt so relaxed and calm.

looks like the order does not work for me. even opposite - i was really anxious during first 10 quant questions. the timing was good on q17 the timer showed 38 mins. after that i was getting i think touger questions the last 3 questions i just blindly guessed. i think some warm up before quant is required for me - ir solely would be ideal before jumping into quant.
