I was just wondering if a test taker was able to solve all 500 and 600 level questions correctly and and got all 700 questions wrong then in what range would his score land?
Would the result be similar for both Verbal and Quant or would it be different?

Welcome to Gmatclub. It is quite difficult to advise the range on the score and difficult to guess whether you get all 500-700 level questions correct and above incorrect. You might get questions wrong of 500-700 and might get correct of 700 above (lucky guess or may be you figured out how to solve it). So, I suggest you to do not waste time on hypothetical analysis.
What is your base score? What is your last mock score?
The verbal score and quant score are divided into percentiles. With a similar score, your verbal percentile will be better than quant percentile. You can easily get this information on google.

nits168 - Doing so sounds exceedingly stupid, honestly. Please understand the whole concept of question difficulty is subjective, meaning I may find a specific question difficult while you may find it quite easy. Therefore, test-takers should not make efforts to unravel the difficulty level of questions on the real-GMAT. Understand that GMAT Prep tests do not provide the test-takers with information on the difficulty level of individual questions for this very reason. Typically, practice tests offered by other test prep companies provide that information. In short, your plan is not a sane one. Instead, please focus on understanding why and which question types in the 700 level are you consistently getting incorrect.
