While most educators believe that the SAT is an accurate indication of a student's future performance in college, others feel that the test score should be used for admissions only if it would be statistically equivalent to the student's GPA.

A) only if it would be statistically equivalent to the student's GPA
B) only if it had been statistically equivalent to the student's GPA
C) only if it will be statistically equivalent to the student's GPA
D) only if it will have been statistically equivalent to the student's GPA
E) only if it is statistically equivalent to the student's GPA
