Some plants reproduce with abiotic pollination, meaning they spread their pollen grains without the assistance of insects or birds. Biotic pollinators require insects or birds to carry pollen from plant to plant. Plants have developed characteristics such as brightly colored petals and sweet tasting nectars to attract these creatures.

The argument is saying

Abiotic: Don't need insects or birds for pollination
Biotic needs Insects or birds for pollination. So, they attract them using brightly colored petals and sweet tasting nectars.

We have to find out a MUST be True Statement.

A. More plants reproduce by biotic pollination than by abiotic pollination.  : No where this is mentioned. OFS. 
B. Plants that reproduce abiotically rely on gusts of wind to carry their pollen grains.  How do they reproduce, again we don't know. 
C. Insects and birds are not aware that they are being used to transfer the pollen grains of plants.  Whether they are aware or not, they are more focused in other things. Hence, incorrect 
D. Either birds or insects do not see exclusively in black and white.  Yes, plants are using colored petals. May be one of these can see black and white. So, Correct 
E. Without insects and birds, plants would go extinct.  Is it?? What about Abiotic ones? Incorrect

choice B - Plants that reproduce abiotically rely on gusts of wind to carry their pollen grains.

THOUGH it is a fact but it is outside of the information given in the argument

choice D is correct- either insect or birds (atleast one of them) is not color blind

Fell for the trap answer B (it makes you bring you outside knowledge that abiotic plants rely on gusts of winds)
Also, it is possible that they don't use gusts of winds and all of the pollination of abiotic plants is done by humans.

Option D correctly infers that either birds or insects are not color blind and thus they are actually attracted towards the colorful petals and sweet nectar.
