But (a,b) (6,8) ab is not 12. Insufficient.

Statement 1.
0^2 + 5^2=25
3^2 + 4^2= 25. Insufficient.

Implies a:b is in ratio 3:4 and absolute value of (a,b) is (3,4). Sufficient.  IMO C.
