hi
i'm new to the club and there is terabytes of info here.

i have decided to take online course, saw reviews for different courses and most of them have positive reviews.

i'm unable to decide between experts global, gmatwhiz and egmat
can anyone help me out with this decision?
I think experts global have a good no.of mock tests but is their video content better than gmatwhiz and egmat
which of these courses provide best time saving strategies

thnku :)

Different people have different experience, that may be or may not suit you. It'd be better to have free trial of those courses before finalizing one. Or, you could try empower GMAT or TTP also for better evaluation.

Hi fatherofgmat,

From your post, it sounds as though you are just starting your GMAT studies. Is that true? Have you done any studying so far?

If you're just beginning, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a bit of practice first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the general content and question types first, then that's fine - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

When it comes to studying for the GMAT, there are certainly lots of different study materials that you might use. Your particular "needs" will depend a great deal on your current GMAT skills as well as your timeline and goals.

1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi fatherofgmat,

I agree that since you are just starting out it may be a good idea to take an official GMAT practice exam, so you can get a baseline score.

Once you complete the exam, feel free to report back here, and I can provide some further advice. Also, check out some of the success stories of past GMAT students as well as reviews of various GMAT prep courses to see what prep materials have worked for other test-takers.

Lastly, you may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Based on my personal experience, I would suggest There is no one course that would prepare you for all the sections in the best way.

Considering you are only looking for online Gmat preparation, I would suggest a few options:

For Sentence Correction : Egmat is great for building foundations in SC. I 've tried its video resources and those really helped me a lot.
and if you want to compliment your knowledge or want to seek help about particular SC topics check out Mike's ( from the magoosh) blogs, they are the real gem.

and if you looking for something, which is equally good in all the perspective go for Experts' Global full Gmat prep course, along with their 15 test mock package, which is really worth every penny spent.

Out of the option you 've provided( assuming only want to take one): I suggest you go for Experts' Global

Side note: I have done my GMAT preparation from Experts Global and was extremely content with my decision. The course is intensive and comprehensive
The video exercises don't go for the pointless excess, they are exceptionally GMAT centered.

Also, The interface of the mock tests is like that of the official exam. This likewise helps you to become familiar with the UI elements of the official exam and these subtle things truly encourages you to score an additional point and each point matters a great deal

I personally went with e-GMAT because of their great online study material. But for the mock tests, you must always practice from the official mock exams for getting an accurate understanding of the examination standards and your performance.
