Which apps are you talking about? There could be so many apps in the market for practicing. GMATClub has toolkit, which is need for practice. You can also try manhattanprep question bank by app.

Hi SJ19,

If you are just beginning your prep or trying to improve your score, then I'm afraid that just practicing questions doesn't help. You need to first
  • Learn the concepts (Deal with one topic at a time)
  • Learn the methodology (Most important)
  • Practice a few questions to solidify your learning (Do not time yourself at this stage)

Only when you are done with the above steps for all the topics, you should start taking timed quizzes so that you can get used to solving questions under time constraints. I'm not able to suggest you anything specific as I'm not sure at which stage of learning you are currently in. Hello, SJ19. If you are talking about the Wiley Efficient Learning app and are making your way through the Official Guide that way, then yes, you would be practicing high-quality questions. I prefer to practice on my computer through the Wiley website, aiming to keep my practice as close to what I can expect to encounter on test day, but if, for instance, I took public transit on a regular basis, I think my phone would be more convenient to use.

I agree with GMATWhizTeam above that aimlessly working through questions may have a marginal effect on your preparedness for the test. If, on the other hand, you have studied some of the theory of Verbal and Quant and want to put your newfound knowledge to the test, then again, I think the Wiley app is fine.
