APPLICATION & ADMISSIONS
Maria Martinez Madrigal, Associate Director of Full-Time MBA Admissions at UC Berkeley Haas, provided insights into the application process. Applicants are evaluated holistically across academics, professional experience, and personal attributes. The program requires two professional letters of recommendation, ideally from supervisors. A unique feature of the application is a video essay prompt asking, "What makes you feel alive and why?" Applicants are encouraged to be authentic and reflective.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Haas is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, a hub for innovation and technology, providing students with access to a vast network of industry leaders and opportunities. The program emphasizes experiential learning through initiatives like Cleantech to Market and the Sustainable Investment Fund.
