Age and Work Experience for MBA

Question

Would being 35 and having 10 years WE make you less of an attractive candidate to an M7 business school? Imagine a candidate who has excellent undergrad grades, a medical degree, startup entrepreneur experience, etc (a strong candidate in all facets).

Doing MBA doesn't have any age bar, but since you already have more than average work experience as well as age, you can apply for executive MBA in M7, with the knowledge, work experience and diversity, you can surely cut through the admission process.

I read a thread in gmatclub so many days back where it says that admission committee take the 35 as negatively. That thread talked that below 35 is the safe zone.

It's interesting because for example for medical, dental, law schools, I don't think being older is viewed as a negative.

That being said, I'm worried that an EMBA will be looked down upon even from a top school. For example, if I'm targetting an EMBA from MIT Sloan but, I have the ability to gain acceptance into the FT MBA, which degree will ultimately result in the better outcome? I think the Sloan EMBA is more selective than some pretty good FT MBA programs but, will it still be viewed as a lesser degree?
