Hard Questions That Seem Deceptively Easy

Hey,

I was wondering whether anyone has a list of GMAT questions that seem deceptively easy but are in fact hard to solve. Think for example the Monty Hall Problem. I've came across a few of these on the GMAT, but would love to do more.

If anyone has one or more of these questions, please let me know!

This is an interesting question. One way to answer it would be to look for questions that a lot of people get wrong, but that few people guess on. That would tell you that people  think  they're getting those questions right when they first solve them - in other words, they seem easy, but look hard.

Based on our data from GMAT Navigator, here are a handful of Official Guide 2018 questions that fit that definition well:

It's not surprising to me that most of these are DS questions, since those are often more 'deceptive' than PS.
