My GMAT verbal improved from 28th percentile to 97th percentile since the first time I took the test. Unfortunately my quant has remained at a very dissapointing 35th percentile. On my previous study attempts I simply worked quant question after quant question without focusing on the concepts. As evident by my results, that strategy proved to be wrong. I am in the process of going over the concepts but will soon need to start tackling the questions again.
What is the best way that you all have used the quant questions from GMAC?
I have the official guide questions as well as 230 questions from GMAT Prep (by GMAC). In total I have about 650 questions to work with. Should I solve them by topic? (Using Manhattan as guide since they have already separated the questions by focus area) Or should I do them according to difficulty? The GMAT prep has them separated them by level of difficulty. Or should I simply solve them at random?
Finally, should I time myself while solving the questions or should I wait to do that until the practice exam stage?
Thanks!
