I just started with my Gmat prep and would like to enroll for good online course
I plan to give gmat in July next year. While both above plans are @$99,which of two is
Better? Optimus prep also boasts of 850+ hours of online resources. Is this amount of time
Required for healthy preparation. I am working professional and can max allot 20hrs /week

When it comes to studying for the GMAT, there are a variety of different options. Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

I tried both programs. Is Optimus really only $ 99?
It seems like I paid a lot more.
Magoosh is not bad. Definitely worth the affordable price. Optimus is also good. 1000s of practice problems, but I didn't like their videos as much. They seemed very "robotic" like the guy was constantly reading from a script. I like videos with a conversational tone.
Optimus does have some cool features though. They provide scripts for all their video lessons and you can sort them by topic. It's very helpful.
I have no idea how much prep time is considered "healthy". I studied for more than 1000 hours for the GMAT. Solved thousands of problems, did at least 30 practice exams and many tutoring lessons.
The GMAT can be really demoralizing and humiliating. Some people seem to do alright with little preparation.
