Hi,
Here's a quick background.
I started studying about two months ago, about 2-3 hours everyday. For about 2-3 weeks I didn't have much a strategy, but I realized my Math foundations was week, so I focused there initially.
I wrote a Kaplan CAT1 and scored a 530, wrote CAT2 2 weeks later and scored a 580 (gave myself extra time). Yesterday, I scored a 540 (Q36,V28), using GMAT Prep1. My verbal score was worst than what I had initially tested. I took the integrated reasoning and essay part seriously, and found that after quant, my head was phased out and paying attention was hard!
Also, I've focused a lot of studying and learning foundations, and have not had much opportunities for intest format question, so I was thinking of practicing sets of these??
Anyways, I have 2 weeks exactly until I write, wondering if anyone has any tips on strategies to increase my score by about 40-50 pts. My goal was to get a 600...but that seems to be slipping out of sight.
Your thoughts and considerations are greatly appreciated.
Are you getting more DS questions wrong? sometimes a quick fix would be to focus on DS questions and trying different strategies to improve accuracy.
