Just received an e-mail about R2 application process. From the e-mail, it said that "most of our interview invitations have been extended by now, but there are still likely some more to come". Even though they told us not to assume we will get denied, I already think it will be a rejection in the end.....

Does Yale typically call a day early?

Yale's decision date for consortium applicants is tomorrow, and I am not sure If I should be hoping for a call today.

Does Yale typically call a day early?

Yale's decision date for consortium applicants is tomorrow, and I am not sure If I should be hoping for a call today.

I don't think they will call early since it is a smaller group of people. Anyway, they usually call day-of if I am not mistaken.

I'm applying to Yale SOM in round 3 and really hope they're not out of space! Why do schools even keep the round open for applications if they're out of space? I'm already old, I don't want to wait til next round.

I'm a total marmite candidate with an unusual profile, and I can't really get a sense of how friendly Yale is to that, although seeing people with 5 years work experience and 770gmat get dinged doesn't leave me feeling super positive!

Undergrad/masters: cambridge UK, stem, 2.1
GMAT: 770 q49v47
WE: 7 years
Backround: startups (my own and other people's). London and Middle East.
31, female
Strong extra curriculars, weak managerial experience

Are there any other self employed people or serial entrepreneurs out there who applied to Yale? Over 30s?

Damn. Was hoping you were applying to the same program as me. I think we would work well together! (Although our profiles sound fairly similar and you have a way higher GMAT score, so you would likely take my spot )

I think they called traditional R1 admits the day before, though they called Consortium R2 admits the day of. Portal was updated at 5p ET
