I would like to recommend everyone who is reading this to just blindly trust E-gmat and invest your time with them. They have very brilliantly designed the course and scholaranium which will identify your weak areas and your ability percentage in individual topics.
My friend recommended me to attend a free webinar from Rajat Sadana which was on the topic Algebra. First thing which explained was Score Plateau. His explanation to overcome score plateau was very useful and it really helps to improve scores. Then he started off with explaining different approaches to algebra questions. After the seminar, I really felt the difference. That was the moment when I wondered how an online course can also benefit anyone.
I regiseterd for E-gmat Quant Prep score.
The course has all the flash player videos on the specific topics which are the core topics. Initially, I used to think that Quants is a very wide and to excel in Quants I need to solve at least three different Quants books. Fortunately, I was proven wrong. E-gmat has specific topic relation tutorials and topic related application files which help to master the step by step approach to the question.
Next, the best thing is Scholaranium. It has more than 1000 question categorised into different levels.
Finally, my investment paid off and I am scoring up to 50 in quants.

Preparing for the GMAT and learning where to start for your prep can be overwhelming. I remember wasting so much time in procuring books and reading reviews of courses. Having to juggle between work and prep, I chose to enroll for the e-GMAT Verbal Online course since they already have great reviews on this site.

The best thing about this course are that the concepts are explained clearly. Being a Non-Native speaker, I was able to see remarkable improvement in my accuracy and speed. I was also able to attend these classes at my own pace and time and re-visit concepts that were hard to learn the first time around.

I would recommend this course for anybody who needs a guiding hand at prep and for people who are looking to study at their own pace.

I started my GMAT journey 4 months ago , and I was on the lookout for a comprehensive verbal course that could give me a good foundation on the basics.
After using the e-GMAT verbal live prep over the course of a few months, I can say with full confidence that this made a difference to my preparation. Like most other non-native speakers, I evaluate words and sentences based on how it sounds in my mind. This required me to unlearn certain basics, and that is not an easy task. It takes multiple visits to the concepts in order to have it etched in my mind and come naturally to me under a pressure situation like the GMAT.

The well-focused Sentence Correction does exactly that. It goes over the basics over and over until you get it correctly each time. The live classes are very helpful, and by breaking down each part of the sentence, the confidence to solve a SC problem skyrockets.

Overall, I used the e-gmat for SC(indispensible), for CR(good), Scholaranium(indispensible) In addition the OG solutions for SC and CR are very clear in their reasoning, and saved me a ton of time that I would have spent otherwise hunting for answers from so many other sources and comments online.

Hello folks,

Few months back I started to prepare for GMAT. In my first GMAT prep mock I scored Q49 V28. I realized I will require a little effort in quant and a lot of efforts in verbal to achieve a decent score.

I started solving OG without going through any initial verbal guides or taking a proper verbal course. This was a big mistake because now I was taking questions as and when they appeared to me and was learning only through the mistakes. The problem with such an approach is that you do not get a proper foundation in verbal. I finished OG completely and took another GMATprep mock, in which I scored V33. I then solved Official Verbal guides too but still could not improve my score any further.

Then a friend suggested me E-GMAT's verbal services. I contacted them and as per my time crunch they suggested me to avail there Scholaranium package.

Verbal Scholaranium is a great package for someone who wants to give finishing touch to his or her preparation. It is a great tool through which you can take 'Verbal Ability' tests to identify you weak areas and then selectively work on them using e-GMAT's 'custom quiz' option. Once you have mastered those areas you can again take an 'ability quiz' to gauge your progress. In total Scholaranium has a total of close to 750 questions from which you can take a.) 10 verbal ability tests, which are a mixture of SC, CR and RC or b.) take customized quizzes to target selective topics/weak-points or c.) take selective CR/RC/SC ability tests

In short I would advise you the following:
1. If you have got at least 2 months for focusing on GMAT's verbal part then I would strongly suggest you to go for e-GMAT's Verbal Live Prep or Verbal Online course. Both these courses will offer you Scholaranium as part of their total course. These courses are properly structured to teach you all the concepts that are required in your preparation. I would suggest you to take their free lessons and webinars before signing up.

2. If you have got less than month for the GMAT then I would suggest you to take up Verbal Scholaranium only.

One last thing whatever course you may or may not take please go through ALL the official questions before final GMAT. Don't hesitate to buy EP1, EP2 etc to help you in your preparation.

I used to suffer severely from SC phobia. However, i knew that an improvement on SC could make or break my verbal score. I just couldnt find any concise and precise material anywhere that were matching my requirements.
Finally, a friend suggested the e gmat verbal course. First i tried out the trial lessons which looked promising. I ended up purchasing the entire verbal online course since i wasn't fairing too well on RC and CR either. In retrospect, this was one of the best decisions i took for my gmat prep.
The SC course is well crafted, with logical explanations, plenty of examples to understand each topic thoroughly, and has a quiz at the end of each concept, that helps you assess your progress. Thanks to this course, my accuracy has gone from 40% to almost 100% in SC. This course is highly recommended for anyone struggling with gmat verbal in general!

I am still in the process of preparing for GMAT. I can say that eGMAT's Verbal course is definitely one of the best course especially if your verbal has conceptual gaps. All the required concepts are explained in a simple way.The SC videos gives you the best understanding with the 3 step process and detailed meaning analysis. My CR portion was already strong so i did not care much for it but i did the Scholaranium thoroughly. The RC videos were really helpful as well. e-GMAT provides you a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while reading through RCs.
Thank you e-GMAT.
I will highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve Verbal performance.

Having attempted the GMAT twice, at a significant gap of 2 years, I was not too sure if I am willing to attempt it again. My first attempt dates back to June 2011 (Scored 660) and the second attempt to September 2013 (Scored 640), you would begin to think that I was writing the exam in utter disinterest and without any preparations. Now, let me not bring up the dead from the buried, instead highlight to you what really changed my mind and made me to work towards this goal again. The reasons of my utterly dismal performance so far will be highlighted steadily in the review below.

eGMAT, similar to a lot of you, was introduced to me by a friend. Not that I did not know about this course, I was just really reluctant to sign up. I was just not sure if it is just another course which I would be throwing my money at. This is because in my previous attempts I kept myself to Manhattan prep, Kaplan and the OG. While OG painted a different picture for me, the other two preparation materials were just categorically different. I was confused, till the last day of preparation about what to follow. And, went into the exam to come out slapped and beaten by the GMAT. This was the time when I understood the nature and importance of the official material of GMAT. eGMAT was truly the game changer that I was sincerely looking for. A go-to material, a one stop shop for all your requirements.

My 2 cents on the course - eGMAT is designed to extremely interactive. The Quant Online is not a course meant to be just get done with. It is designed in a way to make sure that you remember the concepts for times to come. I have been able to complete the course and during my practice sessions, keeping a score stable in the range of 49-51. It is absolutely essential to keep timing of your practice sessions as well, because on the D-Day, such will be the conditions.

Invest your time into building these concepts with reference to right kind of practice material from the OG and Quant Review (stick to the official material). For more challenging material you can always refer to the question banks at GMATClub. You can always reach out to me in case of any advise and clarifications. More than happy to help.

Wish you good luck for the journey.

I am still in the process of preparing for GMAT. I can say this with a lot of confidence that eGMAT's Verbal course is definitely one of the most exhaustive course available currently. All the required concepts are explained in a simple way. The best thing about the course is that the teaching method is very scientific. Watching videos are fun. Step-by-step process mentioned in the course will definitely help not only in building strong concepts but also in getting a higher score in Verbal.

There is absolutely no comparison to Scholaranium. It makes assessing your weakness crystal clear. I will highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve Verbal performance.
Will definitely share my performance once I am done with my GMAT.

Being an Indian GMAT aspirant , Verbal was my night mare. To overcome this problem I signed up for e-GMAT verbal online course and this helped me score 39 in verbal which I was very happy with. The SC section was particularly helpful as I need the most help in SC area. Th videos were really good in terms of covering the basics and the structured approach was helpful in developing a sense of understanding of the topics. I will definitely recommend this all the people who think they are week in Verbal, The CR section could have been better and I was able to find better resources elsewhere for CR. I would request the e-GMAT team to work on their CR content specially interms of the example problems they are using in their material.

I had started with V20 and I was extremely weak in verbal. I am a person who hasnt read a single novel in my life. I had tried several online courses and I had spent a huge amount in my test prep. Once I got introduced to egmat via a free webinar, I started looking at verbal from a different angle.

SC which was a burden, now seemed so interesting and easy.
The CR approach too was helpful as well. The prethinking method saved lots of time. I also gained the confidence to tackle the much dreaded boldfaced questions.

For tackling the RC, I found the egmat approach to be very useful. I liked the Master Comprehension course which helped me to read the passages quickly. I was able to improve my speed and accuracy and now I am capable of solving a long passage in 7 minutes and a short one in 4-5 minutes only. This was a huge improvement for me.

Thank you e-GMAT once again for this huge improvement in my test score. Overall, I have managed to improve my verbal score a V20 to V39.

All the best to you all !! Do not give up!!
