This course is very beneficial for those who have demanding work schedules and cannot dedicate large chunks of time to studying for the GMAT. The course is broken into smaller 20-30 mins video guides followed by practice questions to help shore up your understanding. There is a syllabus provided at the beginning of the course so if you have specific areas of concern you want to focus on, you can go directly there.

What I found most useful about the course was the ability to tackle a section and then do targeted practice on those topics so I could make sure I understood them before moving on. Additionally, the ability to re-watch the lessons as many times as necessary was very helpful.

Well I took my 1st Gmat on 13th of Sept'16, after studying for almost 3 months, had gone through OG's and VR's 15 and 16 3-4times for this attempt and in my practice tests i was scoring 620-640. But on the test day I scored 590 V23, Q48, IR2 and AWA6. I was quite depressed as I was quite good in academics throughout. Then I read reviews of people who had scored well on Gmat and many of them vouched for Egmat.
After going through Egmat Verbal online, i felt quite confident, as everyone says and i repeat, the SC does take time when you start, but after 2-3 weeks when you are comfortable with the 3 step approach it feels good. Additionally, if the SC is done thoroughly, the approach helps quite much in RC. When i appeared for the first time i skipped one RC and then also I was not able to complete all questions on time. But after going through the course i completed Verbal section 2 mins before time.
So here is what i gained, read carefully and calmly. And when going through the SC after finishing the course, do the OG's and VR's twice over just to understand the approach. Once SC is complete the RC automatically improves. And for CR practice a lot. Do complete the scholaranium and do not forget to check the comments of other students.
The quant tests and verbal tests that we get along with verbal online are quite helpful.

I have been using the verbal live prep and it has been the best live prep course that i have ever studied and it has improved my verbal skills a lot .I learned though the course makes SC seem more easier task to handle, and the important thing is their approach gives me confidence to tackle SC, I just go step by step in a structured many get to the correct answer choice. My accuracy now is >80%, I'm quite happy. If I want to boost my accuracy to about 90%, I'd know where to focus my time, thanks to their Scholarinium, a great tool to know where your strengths, your weaknesses, your takt time (you should definitely see their free strategy recording on this term). So you'll know you can confidently skips some questions and still get a high score.

I had score 540 on my GMAT by self study but I wasn't sure if I will be able to improve further by self study. So I took up eGMAT Quant Live course and I got 20 point jump in Verbal in my score in a matter of 28 days. I wish I had taken the course earlier. If I had, I would have scored more than 700 easily.
I would recommend this Quant course to each and everyone who is struggling to score well on the GMAT just because his/her Quant is weak. e-GMAT Quant Live course helped me a lot as I could take it on my own pace as I could get the recording of each and every session.

Good materials & questions, bad and distracting website design

After being stuck at the same score using Magoosh, I decided to give e-gmat verbal a try.

The materials were very organized and the questions were challenging, yet, similar to Magoosh, it offers a good foundation to your verbal studies, but it doesn't offer any exam oriented materials.

After going through 80% of the questions and the course, I did not improve much on my verbal, I was a bit disappointed by it. I believe that e-gmat is just not a good platform for me.

Some of the videos looked a bit archaic and the website is not designed to induce high performance.

Great course to develop your foundation

I took my first GMAT prep 4 years ago when I scored V24. I knew that I have to take a structured course to improve on my Verbal. While I seriously started preping for GMAT about 6-7months ago with M'tan prep books, I felt that I was still confused on some of the concepts. Thats when I signed up for e-gmat. e-gmat gives you an organised platform to study all verbal sections. Also, the tests on scholaranium are great source of practice. It helped me to reach a score of V32 - my first GMAT attempt score.
Although I had to sign-up for private tutor who helped me to further improve my verbal score( to V39), egmat laid the necessary foundation, especially in SC and CR sections.
One advise that I have for e-gmat is to include more material and practice questions on idioms. Idioms is one category that I feel is tested quite frequently on GMAT and where native speakers have clear advantage. Practicing idioms can help non-natives to address this weakness - my two cents!

As a working professional, verbal online is an excellent medium via which you can brush up your concepts on the go. Online course allows you to play/pause as per your convenience. The concepts are quite easy to comprehend and the course is specially designed for non-natives. Also, e-gmat team has prepared a comprehensive plan to tackle each section. SC and CR are extremely well designed with adequate no. of examples. Post every concept, there is a practice test which allows you to gauge your success level. While practicing mocks, I have seen significant improvement in both quality and time.

e-GMAT's Verbal Online course was best suited for me as it not only reinforced the fundamentals but also taught me a structured, almost mathematical approach to solving verbal questions. The content is quite thorough and is delivered by excellent faculty through a very user friendly interface. The application files and the practice files at the end of each topic are especially very helpful in clarifying the concepts learned. The strategies advocated for each section (SC, CR & RC) have definitely helped me enhance my approach to solving verbal questions under testing conditions and have also helped me improve my accuracy (especially in SC). I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to ace the verbal section of the GMAT.

Excellent approach towards solving verbal problems

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement 60 Points

Course e-GMAT 2M Focus

After getting an experience of 3+ years in a manufacturing sector right out of IIT Madras, I was hoping to get into some B schools to help me shape my career. The most logical step for me was GMAT. However, the first time, I tried it, I got a score of 650. This de-motivated me and I was not so sure, as to where I was going wrong. Several thoughts came to my mind, and I finally decided to join a course to analyse my mistakes.

After analyzing many courses, I signed up for E-Gmat, verbal live prep. The first few classes filled me up with excitement. I could clearly see that my approach towards solving problems earlier was severely flawed.

In just about a month's time, I was solving SC questions like a professional, I realized that this part of GMAT, which usually took me the longest, was something that was now actually saving time. CR and SC also improved drastically. More than anything, the fear of GMAT was completely gone. I enjoyed studying and felt more confident. I got a score of 710 (V37, Q49) in my second time and an admission in many good B schools such as ISB, Olin, Kelley and Ivey Richards. Had I focused more on quant I would have got a little more, but e-gmat was a savior and helped me get an extremely unexpected verbal score.

Course Work:
The live sessions are exhilarating, and the interactions with the instructor are life like. The energy felt during the course carries through out the week and helps in preparing better. Approach towards SC is path breaking. This dreaded part of GMAT is solved so easily through E-GMAT that at the end of the day, one feels that there is no reason to fear from it at all.

CR and RC also strengthened like never before. I felt very amazing, when I understood the basic reasons behind the questions in OG, when I listened to their explanations. It molded my thoughts and helped me in forming a fresh approach towards a problem.

There are also many questions in the e-gmat, which are designed specifically to enhance one's strengths in the areas, where we feel weak. The doubts are answered very nicely and the polls used in live prep is an extremely useful tool to evaluate one's progress among our peers.

During the course itself, seeing the questions asked by our peers, we can evaluate our understanding and be also aware that we are doing above average.

Software for Live Courses
I had earlier taken some online classes for various reasons. NPTEL was used in IIT earlier. But most of these online courses were a monologue and we could not express ourselves rightly , like that in a class. Here the feel was extremely different. I felt like sitting in a class, moreover, I was not un comfortable to ask questions. It was scheduled at a time, when I was always free and could give it full attention. I therefore attended all classes.

Response to emails:
I don't know how they do it, but they respond to all emails within 12 hours. It is amazing. I was extremely happy with their customer service and appreciate it a lot.

At last, I would say that e-gmat thought me how to think. It will take me beyond GMAT exam alone and would help me in general. I strongly recommend taking this course as it won't be just learning but will be 'fun' learning.
