Top Universities FOR MBA IN UK

A critical difference between the US and UK programs is the Average GMAT required by top schools. While applicants to top US programs can only make the cut by having a 700+ GMAT, UK programs give more weightage to your professional experience and hence have a lower average range for GMAT.

Eligibility Criteria

The criteria are very much similar to the US programs. Candidates looking to pursue MBA in the UK are required to fulfill these primary requirements:

  • Prospective MBA students will need at least an upper second class honors degree or equivalent.

  • Required for most schools 600+ (minimum) Average for 2019 Class of various B-schools 640-730.

  • For pursuing MBA in the UK, students need to prove English proficiency and appear for tests like IELTS, TOFEL, or PTE. Scores must be in IELTS above 6.5+ and  TOEFL: 95+. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience for getting enrolled in UK universities. However, it's not always mandatory.

  • 500 words personal statement/SOP covering questions like short & long-term career goals, how will MBA equip you for a future, describing one teamwork experience, and why you chose the program.

  • Proof of being able to finance your program.

  • A student visa to pursue an education in the UK.
