I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not turn out better; to clarify though - is this score from a practice CAT/mock or from the Official GMAT? Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to and what are the exact application deadlines that you are facing?

Hi nick32,
Sorry to hear about your score. But honestly you need to improve on every front in verbal.
Now looking at your timeline of 1 month, I would say self preparation or buying an online course is not going to help you a lot as they need more time to improve. If you can afford, go for a one on one tutoring, reach out to verbal experts in this forum or other tutoring websites, take a free demo and then choose one.
