I was very happy to record a score of 750 today (Q47/V47), but was somewhat perplexed to see that my Q score fell in the 65th percentile. I know that test taking demographics are changing and that the Q scores have been trending higher in recent years. However, I think of 750 as being a pretty good score, and 65th percentile is... not good. Can anyone provide some context on Q47 as a score in terms of viability for top 10/top 5 schools? Is there any resource that allows you to measure your Q/V scores relative to your demographic (e.g. "percentile amongst U.S. males") as opposed to the entire pool of test takers?
Thanks,

I think you have already scored an awesome score and you should not bother about such questions.
Percentile is just a matter of how many people are taking that exam. People, mostly Indians, are at a very high Quant score. Hence, your percentile is less. But no B School would bother two look at your percentile after looking at your GMAT Score.
So, just cheer up and have a partyyyyy.
