Replying to SDGZoman - looks good. Would want to look into the details of your work profile to give a holistic viewpoint. Top 10 - 15 should be possible - depends on the strength of your professional accomplishments/goal clarity

Waiting for questions Sajjad.

sk2020 has a great profile. low GMAT. That would be the only bottleneck.

1. Both are great schools - my sense is getting into these schools will be a little difficult with a. 700, though you may certainly apply. I would recommend that you make the choice once the results are on the table. If you want to make a choice beforehand - Darden is better known for consulting

2. American schools give better scholarships

3. your shortlist includes safes as well - Manchester, Smith.

4. Oxford may be slightly easier to get into than Cambridge.

Age:26
Male
Academics: B.Tech + M.Tech (IIT Madras)(CGPA: 8.4)
Work ex: Worked for 3 years at ExxonMobil ( one of the largest players in Oil and Gas in the world) both as a Mechanical Engineer and in Digital Transformation leading multiple teams

Was planning on joining MBA next year but secured a job at one of the big three consulting firms (i.e. MBB) as a solutions analyst recently

I am wondering if it would be wise to postpone my MBA plans in favour of a consulting job?

replying to Sainikhil: good profile. I think you can get another year’s experience at McKinsey and then apply next year for the session starting 2023. Mck will give you some exposure. but to get into core consulting, an MBA will help

Thank you Sajjad... perhaps I can post a few links to our online presence?
