What is everyone thinking for work count range in the two min 250 word essays? I am at about 700 & 900 for them, just want to make sure that is reasonable!

Ditto for me...After editing about 4-5 times. I am going leave it there in my case.

From just talking to a friend who is an alumnus they think that is a little long. I might try to make a few more cuts and shave 100 words off of each. I am sure as long as you don't go crazy with a novel it won't matter too much

Appreciate it. I have two recent Booth grads on my current team and I am going to go over my app with them on Monday or Tuesday. I will make sure to ask about the shapetheclass and let you know what they say!

Marger my essays were around 550 words each. I went with the “less is more” approach and tried to keep them as succinct and tight as possible. I think since there are two essays for Booth (vs. long one for programs like HBS), the expectation is that they’re on the shorter side. But if you’re using all 700/900 words effectively and have engaging essays, I don’t see them penalizing you for the length. Just my two cents. Posted from my mobile device
