I also faced this issue when I was using visa card. But when I used AMEX, it worked and payment was successful. You can try the same at your end as well.

Hope this was helpful.

Have you checked if OTP facility is activated for your credit card...?

Can anyone tell me, what “status” is showing up for an open application for Booth?

I hit submit on my app; it took me to another page where the payment link was present. I made the payment and it again took me to the previous page except that the payment link was gone.

Didn’t display any message saying your application has been submitted; however on logging in again, it’s showing the status as “submitted”.

Update:
I got a confirmation email from the university a little later, which was what I was expecting :)

If it’s showing submitted and you’ve got your check marks, you should be good. They’d contact you otherwise.

It seemed like a Booth specific problem. Used the same card to pay for all applications and, in fact, for Booth last year :shh:

I talked with a few students, and most mentioned that living in the South Loop is the best option. I've only travelled to Chicago for business purposes, so I'm not familiar with the housing in that particular area.

Another student mentioned living in Hyde Park was good for families, but would be away from the "city life"

Seems like wherever you go, it's gonna be pricy. Planning to spend at least 2k per month in rent if I am lucky enough to get accepted.

Yeah, I’ve heard similar things. That’s a lot for rent. Is Booth your first choice?
