Had my interview on 30th with Tedi Mason and was on expected lines. She is extremely friendly and conversational in her style and as my first interview, it did a lot to settle nerves.
Looking through the thread, the only question i got asked which isnt listed here is "What challenges do you foresee you will face during your MBA?"

Yes, that's a standard question at Carlson and I was asked that as well. Tedi said it is to asses how you speak extempore on a topic, as managers often have to.

Though I knew i'd be asked this, i ensured I didnt prepare beforehand since i guess they can easily tell apart a response thats rehearsed from one thats truly extempore.

Any update, guys? I think they will start to release results starting from nowadays..but i do not know whether they could send results for R2 applicants. But we were interviewed almost in the same period with R1 applicants. Any idea??

It depends my friend.. you may have less rate of scholarship even If your gmat, gpa are higher than anybody else.. Scholarship issue is a little bit complicated and there is not a direct answer..

During my interview, i was told that if there is a genuine need to release decisions earlier, they'd support that.. Which means if you need to pay deposit elsewhere and are waiting for Carlson's results, they would be able to expedite.

There's no harm in informing them. They do the background check only for certain cases I suppose.
