For anyone that interviewed would you mind chatting/sharing what you wrote? How you utilized the pictures, what you included in your essay/ppt? It'd be nice to hear from someone whose received an interview because there essay/ppt obviously resonated with the AdComm.

I did only written essays. And I picked a picture that showed the LEAD class going on and used it to bridge into a story of my leadership background and why that made Chicago the choice for me.

I've heard times released anywhere from 12-4 EST and that last year 40% of the interview invites were released the last day. Will they also release those who don't get an invite today?

Keep your head up! 40% of interviews were given on the last day last year, and someone earlier mentioned that it might be 50% this year!

They are making it look like a Hans Zimmer theme song. There's a lull in the beginning which continues for a while and culminates in a high/low.

Nothing for me yet...wait a second I didnt even apply for R1. Your posted picture made me do this.

Jokes apart, hang in there guys. As someone mentioned above, last year a massive wave of invites was sent out at ~4 PM CT so that is still 1.5 hour away. All the best to everyone.

Last year 39% of the R1 applicants here were invited to interview. So far we see only 26% of the people invited, I think a huge wave is coming soon. Can anyone confirm if this is the last day invitations can be sent out? Is it possible some are coming next week?

Per calling-all-chicago-booth-applicants-2016-intake-class-of-200058-100.html#p1583610 , the interviews wwill be from Oct 19- Nov 13th. So I doubt it that Booth will prolong this process beyond today.
