I applied ED close to the October deadline, and just got admitted w/o an interview due to applying & interviewing late last season.

Any feedback regarding your past interview?

Are you asking if I recieved any feedback from Columbia after my past interview, or do I have any advice about interviewing with Columbia?

I did not recieve any feedback from Columbia after my past interview.

In terms of advice, I don't think there's much more that I can offer compared to the advice that is already available. I felt like my interview was pretty typical, and I had prepared for it similar to my other interviews. We focused on the generic topics, like going through my resumè as well as discussing relevant follow-ups.

I'd be happy to answer other questions, but honestly don't think there is much to say about the interview in my case.

Received mail from CBS about RD application review. It starts on Nov 23 and they review in the order of application submission. They typically take 4 weeks to give interview invite or ding mail and a maximum of 6 weeks. Good luck to fellow RD applicants!

Applied with 166 EA, Master's and UG (4 and 3.7 GPA equivalents), Work experience in 7 countries - Govt/Strategy Consultancy in International Development; keeping my fingers crossed.

Have any RD applicants heard back yet? Saw one interview invite on clearadmit for someone who applied sept 3

Just wanted to say I got rejected today.

I still don't really get why I wasn't good enough for an interview.

I scored 166 in EA; have a Bachelors and Master's from two top universities at 3.7 and 4 GPA. I have about 4.5 years work experience in top tier strategy consulting and International Development and have worked in 8 countries including 2 where I lived.

I was recently promoted and got an institutional award for advancing diversity in an institutional environment that employs more than 500,000 people as well as a performance team award over last year. I had also done a coding bootcamp during Covid-19 and used my skills to create my own website for a future impact business in the sector I work in.

I only took the EA for Columbia and I reapplied based off rejection last year pre interview and applied early this time too. I have my GRE tomorrow and I must now block out my disappointment, but I genuinely feel I could not have done any more.

Good luck with the GRE, there are many other fantastic schools that will benefit from having you in their class.
