Doing a couple of mocks will give you a lot of confidence and feel for the interview.
It's more often than not a very conversational interview. Answer what is exactly being asked, be genuine, and show your passion for the school.
And lastly, just relax and enjoy it (easier said than done). This is how you'll be able to put your best foot forward.
All the very best!
Sorry for the late response, but I appreciate your advice! Just as an update, I ended up having my interview and was accepted! You were exactly right that the interview was more conversational than anything. It really felt less like I was trying to "pitch" myself to the interviewer and more like we were classmates discussing our future goals and plans. I think it helped that he had just graduated this year, so was very close to me in age.
For the sake of transparency:
app submission: 9/30
interview invite: 10/18
interview feedback: 10/20
admission date: 10/22
Good luck to everyone who has not yet heard back!
Hey congratulations, super excited for you! Guess you can change your username now.
