Hey everybody, I interviewed nearly 3 weeks ago, feedback submitted 12 days ago - no ding nor acceptance yet. I know they give you 2 weeks from feedback but jeeeez this way longer than I thought. I know people think its safe to assume its a ding after the long wait, but maybe let's take the positive route and assume they're just deliberating how much scholarship $ to offer you haha

Just got invited to interview!! I applied 9/30 and received my invitation to interview this morning :)

I know there's a lot of resources online that offer some great interview advice. Is there any advice in particular, or any particular resources, that people have found to be especially helpful?

Doing a couple of mocks will give you a lot of confidence and feel for the interview.
It's more often than not a very conversational interview. Answer what is exactly being asked, be genuine, and show your passion for the school.
And lastly, just relax and enjoy it (easier said than done). This is how you'll be able to put your best foot forward.
All the very best!

Sorry for the late response, but I appreciate your advice! Just as an update, I ended up having my interview and was accepted! You were exactly right that the interview was more conversational than anything. It really felt less like I was trying to "pitch" myself to the interviewer and more like we were classmates discussing our future goals and plans. I think it helped that he had just graduated this year, so was very close to me in age.

For the sake of transparency:
app submission: 9/30
interview invite: 10/18
interview feedback: 10/20
admission date: 10/22

Good luck to everyone who has not yet heard back!

Hey congratulations, super excited for you! Guess you can change your username now.
Hopefully, I'll see you in New York soon :)

Haha thanks! Well, I'm still "hopeful" that everything goes according to plan and I am able to graduate with the degree. :)
Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of our class, as well!

Yes, I did, and also when you log into your applicant portal, the interview confirmation page should no longer be there.

Just got dinged as well without an interview. Didn’t get an email but checked the portal. Applied 10/3. Between here and Clearadmit, looks like a lot of people got dinged today. Best of luck to everyone else who’s still waiting.
