I did get an email from LASA. However, I wouldn’t overthink that, since I’d say that it doesn’t mean something specific about your profile or anything else (it has more to do with your interests and if you identify with some particular group, both circumstances about which you talked in the application). If you’re invited to interview, congrats, that’s already an awesome sign!!

Same I got one from DSA. Honestly, its because you earmarked your respective interests in the application. So don’t overthink, just enjoy the process.

Hey everyone,

Just a quick reminder, Darden South Asia Society is organizing a panel on Darden Experience as a part of Darden South Asia Conference. This panel will be very interactive and will be led by our faculty at Darden. We will be giving you a glimpse of Darden classroom experience. You will also get a chance to interact with current students. No prerequisite reading/preparation is needed for the session. We would love to see you all there!!
Please find the details of the session:
Time: Feb 12th, 9:15 to 10:15 AM IST (Feb 11th, 10:45 to 11:45 PM EST)

Nope, I think the Darden interviews are straightforward for the most part and the interview debrief really covers the breadth of questions

my interview was with an adcom guy! super informal and conversational. he asked:

1. tell me about yourself

2. asked some follow up question about previous work experience

Asked some behaviorals: what is the project your are most proud of? / a challenge you had to overcome/ a diversity experience / a leadership experience

why an mba, why darden

and thats pretty much about it

My interview was about 35-37 minutes with the 2nd year student - 30 minutes was me speaking and I asked questions for 5-7 minutes

He said I am a really good fit etc. Fingers crossed; let’s see what happens on the 16th. Another observation, not sure if it is just me, but I find that Darden students don’t really get back to you when you send an email

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, my clients state of the opposite maybe this time of year isn’t so great because they are worrying about internships and full-time offers

Absolutely, I understand that a lot of things are happening at the same time for the students :)

Wanted to get a sense of how close until decision date can one expect to receive an interview invite?

I thought I had a good profile and decent GRE/EA score, but haven’t heard back yet. Should I assume the chances are minimal? Or is it normal to wait until the last few weeks to get interview invites?
