Hi Everyone, Need some suggestion on my MBA application. Post MBA goal - Explore either consulting (preferably MBB) or supply chain industry role post MBA. I have 7 years of experience working with Gartner, Deloitte and EY (supply chain consulting). Question - I have accepted Scheller's offer in R1 (full GRA) as it has a great supply chain program and does fine in consulting. However, I am applying to Emory in R2 as it does better placements in consulting, is a higher ranked institute. I'm slightly on the edge with this application though. Based on what I've heard so far, beyond top 7 the onus is on the candidate to secure placement and so there's not much difference between what a rank 17 or a rank 20 institute can offer and Emory would probably not offer full scholarship. Should I still be exploring this option?

First off congratulations. There is some truth in the above especially in the current market. I would think no harm in applying plus you already have a great back-up option. Remember Consulting and Tech are down this year and mostly be so next year but the year after it may improve so take it in a positive light Again HBS too hasn’t been spared so the tension is true and quite palpable everywhere else

Can someone help me with the prompts you received for the video essay? I am planning to submit the application tomorrow for R2 and need to prepare for it. Thanks in advance!

You get a different prompt for the 3 chances . I got 1) binge worthy show you would recommend 2) a situation where you have experienced cross cultural situation ? 3) a challenging situation you could have dealt differently ?

Thanks! Do all the three prompts appear at the same time and you get to choose one and talk about it? Or you get a chance to skip one prompt to go to another? (For ex: If didn’t encounter an experience to answer the 2nd prompt)
