I think that your GMAT might be a big hurdle and would be worth taking again. They say over and over in their webchat videos that 50% is a cut off for them on the GMAT or GRE, and I think the middle 80% range has a lower limit of 610 on the GMAT, so at best you are in the lowest 10% for GMAT scores. Then again, they look at all parts of the application, and I know they place a lot of weight into work experience and essays. Good luck!
Got an off-campus int in about a week in person with an ad comm member. Any tips from people who have gone through the process?
Hi - I interviewed with Libby during their open period back in November. We started by going through my resume. She asked me to talk about the project I was most proud of. She asked how my coworkers would describe me. She asked what sort of critique my supervisor might have about me. Then she asked me about extracurricular activities, both in college and since. She also asked the standard "why MBA, why now, why Goizueta?" There were also a few questions about traits you would like to develop as a leader, and also traits you don't want to have. Also questions about how I would be involved at Goizueta (clubs that interest you). Finally, she asked me if I could go back and do things over, is there anything I would change or do differently? Then we had time for me to ask questions.
It last about 30 minutes and it was fairly laid back - I was expecting something much more formal and I was surprised by how comfortable it felt. A few other people I talked to after felt the same way so I guess that's just how they are. I will say that when comparing notes with someone else who interviewed with the same person, she was asked different questions so they really are looking at your resume and wanting to get to know you during the process. Good luck!
