Admitted too on 2/7. I just went to campus to do a class visit on Saturday since I've never been to Berkeley before. It was amazing and I really recommend if you haven't done so. I live in Southern California so I need to figure out what I need to do with commuting vs moving. Did anyone apply for scholarships? Hope to hear decision on that this Friday 2/21... Did they send out round 2 decisions or not?

Not that I have seen - I assume we won't hear for another week. Looks like in prior years they sent messages out day before or day of.

Got admitted to Wharton EMBA in SF with a little bit of scholarship $$. trying to figure out if I still pursue the part time option at Haas (applied round 3 so wont hear back for awhile). any suggestions?

Congratulations! What's the timeline to relay your decision to the Wharton program?

deadline was today (i paid the deposit of 250$) my scholarship more than covers the deposit, and ive read through the admitted class profile and its kind of bonkers. 9 ppl from google, 9 from ernst and young, 9 from PwC, 7 from Vanguard... you get the idea. classes were originally scheduled to start end May (which was a big value add for me as i did not want to fall to begin classes) but now everything has been pushed back till August. any expectations on how the cohort will compare Haas EWMBA vs Wharton?

I am in the same boat as you are. What is more important is the quality of discussion. Most of the folks are directors or heads and are trying to move up - this is what I feel. This is consistent with the career trajectory of a few folks I have been talking to. They have stayed at the same company and WEMBA was purely a pursuit of sorts. Haas sounds younger, technology heavy and a lot more academic. People are saying I can't go wrong with either but with a 70k difference in price tag, this is a definite predicament.
