We will not accept the new GMAT Focus exam as it will not be available until after this year’s Round 1 deadline. The entire experience has been amusing though. Despite popular opinion that test scores are just one component of the evaluation process, many people would get a response from HBS today and conclude that their test scores were the reason why they got a good / bad response.

But what more can one do...in absence of a detailed feedback on why a certain profile was not selected or where it stood against competition.

Regardless of the outcome, let’s keep our chin up. It’s just one school... We tried our best

That is so true. Because regarding the application – everyone felt they did their best but can’t really judge their own work. There is an unknown unknown there.

Totally valid. But at the end of the day, we can still give the schools the benefit of the doubt and accept that maybe, just maybe the test scores were indeed one component. 100% !!
