I too got an admit yesterday *yay*
However.. I didn't get any mail regarding the scholarship... Can anyone help me with that please?

Posted from my mobile device

Usually they inform over the phone. The unofficial admit email doesn't have any detail of it, but the official mail must have details regd. scholarship. The official letter usually comes 2-3 weeks after admit.

Can we write to this as reply to the mail I got now? And what's the quantum of scholarship that we can get?

You can of course check with HKUST team on scholarship details. I have read somewhere the scholarship ranges between 10%-50% of tuition fees.

10% is a bit too little.. Ain't it?!!
But the way.. Has anyone else got any scholarship yet?

Hi all,

I'm an admit of the part time program. Is there a existing group on facebook or whatsapp at the moment? If so, can I join? Thanks.

Congrats on your admits!

There are 2 forums at the moment -

1. WhatsApp group that Anand is talking about - That group has all folks who have received the admission offer. I believe this is being managed by people who have received the offers directly.

2. Facebook - This one is being handled by the school itself and has folks who have accepted the offer of admission. The adcom team will contact you once you accept the offer officially.

Hello all,

I have been selected into the HKUST 2016 intake. Since I received an admit offer last week, I was wondering if there is any chat group that is active for the 2016 intake students. If there is one that you are a part of, could anyone please help me join the same?

My contact # is +919871107497

Thanks,
Utkarsh

Hi Utkarsh,

Congrats on your admit. As I mentioned in the comment above yours, there are 2 groups.

I have already requested the admins to add you to the WhatsApp group. As for the other group on Facebook, thats been handled by the admissions team and they will add you automatically once in some time.

Cheers,
Mridul

Hi I have got an admit for Oxford and HKUST. I'm leaning towards HKUST mainly because of the FT rankings, better post mba job prospects and 16 months duration. However, Oxford will have a more diverse student body and the Oxford name is huge in India. Any advice?
