know your application, after all you wrote it (right?)
reread your essay, refamiliarize yourself with the story/message you're telling.

think of some interesting questions to ask when it's your turn to ask questions.

and most of all be yourself. IESE is looking for people, not robots who say what they want to hear.

Edit: ignore the edit, edited the wrong post

Would be happy to, but with such strong willingness you are showing to be a part of IESE, I'm sure you will get in this time.

They actually gave me 3-4 choices to choose from for the interview date. I chose 28th. Mine is Webex, although I was hoping for an in-person interview since I believe I can make better conversation in person.

if you're willing to travel, you could always ask them about it. I don't know if you mentioned where your from (a little voice in the back of my head keeps saying brazil), but i guess they offered the webex due to the fact that you're so far out?

Edit: ofcourse i was wrong ^^, it's india :p

Hey Aeon86, yes it is India. I'm not sure what it is. I spoke to our region adcom director for an informational interview before submission and it is the same director who will be interviewing.

So, update from my side
I just got my Interview invite by email for next Friday.

As I'm a re-applicant I've also been requested to attend Assessment day, and since there is none planned for ED, I will have that one on November 17, together with the round 1 applicants.

this means i'll get my Admissions decision by December 4th

Congrats aeon86!

All who are attending assessment day: It would be great if you guys could share your experience in interview experience section. It would certainly help future applicants. https://gmatclub.com/forum/iese-220/int ... brief.html

hahah don't worry ... everything takes time ...

so... I'm Brazilian... civil engineer with 7 years background in sales and mkt... and I choose IESE as my dream school 2 years ago.... when I went to Barcelona to visit a friend, who was doing his Mba at IESE,... and in that day I had the opportunity to attempt to a class at IESE ... which was AMAZING!!!!

After that... events (all of that in Brazil) ... study.. gmat .. toefl, applications...

And I believe that they called yesterday because today (October - 12) is a Catholic holiday in Brazil...

Btw... I was also accepted at ESADE ... also yesterday!

good luck for u guys!! and feel free to ask me anything you want to know!!!

Hey Cezartrotta!
Congrats on the admit. I can imagine how elated you must be right now and I’m sure you deserve to have fun right now.

Did you have two interviews as well?

Hi all,

I had applied on Sept 7 such that I am not cnsidered for ED. However, I got an interview invite within a week. Interviewed on Oct 8 and got to know that I have an offer on Oct 10th. No assessment day.

I guess each case is unique :)

All the best to all applicants. Always Remember that IESE is a mission driven school :)

Wow! Congrats!! I'm officially freaking out now haha! My adcom told me to expect news this week and that they would begin sending the answers today (15/10) so I was already nervous, but now it's on a whole other level.

Do you mind telling if it was the adcom from Brazil or Barcelona that gave you the news? Just for curiosity. Thanks anyway and congratulations again!

Hi all. I just got an interview invite but it is in Bangalore this coming weekend itself and I am based out of Hyderabad. I was expecting an online interview. I have mailed them requesting for an online interview. Waiting for their response. Has anyone else also come across something like this?
