Hey
Congrats on getting in. :-D :-D
Can you please share your experience for the interview. What were the questions asked. How long and strenuous was the entire process ?
I have received an interview call but they haven't shared any date ? In how much time can I expect the interview date ?

Thanks
KD

I'm admitted and enrolled for January. Let me know if any of you have any questions about the application process. I was also on campus for the Out of the Ordinary Weekend in early February so if there's any program-related or campus questions I can try my best to answer those as well.

Would really help if you can share your interview experience, how long was it, what were the questions asked, how was the interviewer etc. ?
I have got a confirmation for the second round interview but no date is mentioned. how much time post the confirmation mail did you get your interview date ?

Tks

Thank you.

The application process was pretty straightforward. IE allows a lot of freedom with the essays.
They can be submitted through video, pictures, etc. All of mine were written though.

As for the interview, I only had one interview. I was very relaxed and around 40 minutes.
They asked about my CV, achievement, short and long terms goals, etc. Other than that
a couple of questions of any social work and projects. The most "out of the ordinary" question
was "what city would you say represents you and why?".

If you have any follow-up question, feel free to get in touch.
All the best.

Cheers

You can write directly to their admissions team. They normally respond in 2-3 days with a feedback on your profile.

Hello guys,

I submitted my application this morning!

I was pretty impressed by the kind of information and essays they asked in the application, with sustainability stamped all over it. The latest careers report looks good too. The new entrepreneur/ highly skilled professional work permit should be good for international students to pursue a career in Spain, post-MBA.

IE offers free Spanish classes too before school year I think.

I was in Madrid last summer for 2 de Mayo and was very impressed by the locals, culture and laid back vibe of the city!

Wish me luck, please!

Did any of you apply to scholarships/fellowships ?
did you hear anything back?

Cheers,
Harsha

I wanted to ask some advice. I had my interview via skype with an admissions director in Madrid and I'm not sure it went that well. I was prepared but it's the first one I've done and I don't think I communicated very confidently. I could hardly see the face of the admissions director so it was hard to connect - talking to a black silhouette. And I thought it was going to be a relaxed interview, and it seemed to want to test me under pressure.. I'm from a non-traditional background so I wasn't prepared for the case study / scenario. It'll be a week tonight since I've had the interview. The wait is anxiety provoking.. Do you think there is anything I can do at this stage to improve my chances? Request another interview? Most people have said to me that I'm judging myself too harshly and that it was probably fine and to leave it alone and be patient.. It's not easy though.

Thank yous emails to the interviewer can often serve a dual purpose of appreciation for their time and also discussing any potential weaknesses you felt were sensed during the interview. Keep in mind it is a holistic process, and if you have any future interviews, would recommend you draft ideas for responses to common questions and then rehearse those in the camera. "winging it" in my opinion is reckless.
