They have mentioned the topics already in the invite. Do they always ask for 1 page resume? Also are LORs not required?

Any watsapp group ?

Ladies and Gents!

All the best to those of you who have been invited for the second stage.

I see a lot of anxiety about the essay topics. Read our essay analysis here:

Reattempt. There is scope to improve your verbal score. We have guys with 10+ years of experience having 760 on GMAT in our batch. So, I would suggest that you work on your verbal part and take the GMAT again

Everyone, I wish you the very best for your interviews. Tips from my interview experience: Be confident without being cocky, be clam and composed, be ready with a plan of what you want post MBA and why do you think IIMA can help you get there, remember that you are a good candidate and that is why you have made it so far. Also, for the extempore, focus on your argument/ reasoning , don’t freak out if you don’t have a lot of data. You are not expected to. You are allowed to change the topic once and that won’t count against you. All the best. Hope to see you during the KT in February next year.

"extempore"?? Please elaborate. We have to give an extempore speech during interview? Btw, IIMB interview had a 30min WAT session. Does IIMA also have one?

Yes, there is an extempore. You have to share your views on a topic and then there may be cross questions by the panel. There is no WAT for IIMA.

Hope this answers your question.

Warm Regards,

Subhankar
