Congratulations to all who made it to made it to IIM-B!
IIM-B is a wonderful place to "B"!
Folks who didn't make it - Please dont get discouraged. My two very close friends got rejected this afternoon too. Their profiles were like this:
Applicant 1: 750 GMAT | FEMALE | 7+ Year of Entrepreneurial Experience | Great Interview
Applicant 2: 710 GMAT | MALE | 6+ Operational experience at Tata Motors | Flawless Interview
Applicant 1 & 2 both are exceptionally high performing candidates but couldn't make through to the competition.
What we need to understand about EPGP at IIM-B is that it's very, very competitive. (Probably the most competitive program in India) EPGP has just 75 seats (Almost 1 out of 15-25 applicants gets through). There's a reason why FT has rated IIM-B's EPGP program as the #1 MBA program in INDIA. Year-on-Year the number of applications has increased along with the average salary.
A rejection does not mean that you are not capable of great things. Applicants 1 & 2 mentioned above were accepted in programs like (Ross, Tuck & INSEAD). Rejection means nothing, you are worth a lot! Just keep trying

Few Tips:
-Apply early (Preferable R1)
-Write a clear SOP (Clarity if thoughts are everything)
-Be Confident during the interview. (The most Important Part)
-Pray!
I'm an admit of R1 ( I accepted the offer)
All the best
