In my experience, people with exceptional professional track record, fulltime volunteering experience, or a history of overcoming insurmountable personal ordeal in life, are the ones who are likely to get a call even at lower GMAT scores.

I have not received an interview call yet. Had applied in round 1. Generally by when are all interview decisions communicated for round 1?

Last year cycle I submitted my application on 10th Jan , got an interview invitation for 10th March

So interviews will keep flowing !

Thanks for the post. I have done my 10th and 12th from I. C. S. E board with 83 and 79. In my undergrad i had 9.44 cgpa and was 2nd rank holder of my batch. Gmat score is 700. So does this sound good im terms of adcom perspective?

Here are some of the questions that were asked on 9th October to one of the applicants whom we helped with mock interviews.

- How do you intend to make a transition from core IT services to e-commerce?
- Mention one thing that you want to improve in your favorite tech product and why.
- You probably do not need an MBA for the product management job you aspire. Have you tried applying anywhere to test?
- State any challenge you have faced while working in a team setting. Elaborate on how you resolved the same.
- You have experience with building technology for facilitating payments. What according to you would be the product roadmap for a company like Paytm.
- You have mentioned that one of your hobbies is following technology trends. Can you share with us some trends you believe the e-commerce industry will see in the next decade?

As you can probably gauge from the nature of the questions, the applicant has mentioned product management in an e-commerce firm as his short-term career goal.
