I received a mail from ISB. I had asked is there any change that january invites might get admitted or out best shot is a waitlist.

Theyvreplied that january invites also stand a chance

Interview date 23 Jan 2022 Duration 30 min 2 panelists - 2014 and 2018 batch 1 adcom - video off I am a Chartered Accountant with over 5 years of experience in two of the Big 4 audit firms and in a leading renewable company. Interview started a bit late. They have introduced themselves and quicky jumped to my profile without asking me to introduce myself (May be they were in rush because the interview started lately). They have asked the following questions; 1. Asked about my first job. One case study kind of question as I said I have audit experience in various industries in my essays. 2. Went onto second company. Asked about the responsibilities as Assistant Manager. 3. What was the major challenge you have faced. 4. What are the responsibilities as a Finance Manager in the current organisation. They asked about my essay related question as I have mentioned that I have worked on fundraising activities. 5. Why you want to do MBA? (Explained why I wanted move into Corporate Finance roles) 6. Do you know any person who has done that before? Is it possible to achieve your short-term goal? (Explained that I have already interacted with couple of ISB alumni who has done that before. Should have answered my back-up plan but I didn’t do that) 7. What was the major achievement in your professional life? 8. Who are you in personal life? What do you do? So this whole discussion took 30 min. They didn’t asked me whether I have any questions to ask to Alum (may be because of time constraint). Over the discussion was conversational and all about what I was mentioned in resume and essays. Be thorough with your profile before you attend interview. I have taken the help of Arvind from Dreamschool Admit for my profile and essay writing and he has also helped me with mock Interviews as well. I have attend the mock interview from Preppie as well. These really helped me in getting the admission at ISB. [#permalink]

Hi Dhruv, I guess they have floated invite for first lot of R3, who will be interviewed on coming weekend. Website says Interview will go on in feb n march. So hopefully they will release week wise interviews. Next set of invite can be expected by next Sunday.

I submitted my application on 5th December for R2, I haven’t received any interview invite or rejection email yet. I mailed the adcom and they replied with "you’re still in contention", I think I’m in contention only for a rejection letter, but is there a chance that ISB will roll out any more R2 interview invites?
