Hi all, I recently got done with my GMAT scoring a GMAT Focus Edition score of 685 (96th percentile). This is an equivalent of 730-740 in Classic GMAT as per - https://www.gmac.com/-/media/files/gmac ... st2024.pdf . My score distributions were Q86/V82/DI84.

I am working as a Software Developer at a Fortune 500 Product based company. I have over 4 years of experience and have had one promotion and am a Male, Indian, Engineer.

Some background -
10th score - 9.8/10
12th - 96/100
College - 7.76/10 from a Tier 1 Engineering College
Decent extra curriculars, sports, organising ability and decent achievements at work.

Medium term goals - Want to transition into Product Management using my MBA.

Long term goal - Want to use the MBA to transition into other industries of my interest from tech.

Questions:-

- What colleges can I look at in the US at this score? Any chance for scholarships there?
- Shall I apply for ISB in Round 3?
- What chances are there for scholarship at ISB at Round 3 or Round 1 next year?

Thanks in advance

I did mention that I was CEO of our company and I managed all the operations et cetera. Along with that. I have also managed a Dropshipping e-commerce start-up. The details are already included above.

ISB Profile review for R3

GMAT FE - 625
Computer Science graduate from BIT, Mesra
3.5+ years of work ex
10/8/7 profile

What are my chances?
GMAT is on the lower side. Would love to know more about the details of your role and post MBA goals. But broadly the profile is a bit traditional so it is going to be difficult in R3 which is the most competitive round

Great GMAT score and overall profile in terms of Tier 1 college and Fortune 500 company. You can try for T20 schools with tech heavy alum base and obviously ISB is fair game. Scholarship & it’s quantum depend on a lot of factors and is very difficult to predict, but most of these schools are in the later rounds of application so chances of scholarship might be lower. Feel free to reach out to us at Preppie (https://www.preppie.in/) for a more detailed discussion.

Hey!!

I've a 650 score in GMAT classic. I'm an Indian Army veteran (served for 10 years), currently working in tech consulting with one of the Big4s for the last two years. What are my chances of getting into ISB?

I think it would be tough but then again if things don’t work out, R1 is always around the corner

So take your shot, I don’t know much about the profile but it can still be worth a shot

Hi , does anyone know contact in ISB admissions that I can get in touch with? My application status has been ’verification in progress’ since 7th of Dec and the query system and email id aren’t really helpful in resolving the query.
Hi, is the issue resolved or is the status still the same?
