Hi All, I got denial mail from Kelley. Their reply for denial was generic. Is there anyway to know what factors affected the denial. Can we ask the School to provide that info?

Also interested in hearing someone's input on this issue. I received the generic rejection email.

What exactly did the email say? I have not heard back from Kelley yet, but I imagine once all R2 decisions are sent out you can certainly reach out to them and ask for feedback and ways to strengthen your application next year (whether or not you intend to reapply).

The following is the rejection email I received on 3/2: The Kelley School of Business MBA Admissions Committee has completed its review of your application. I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission for the 2018 fall semester. The task of selecting applicants to the Kelley School of Business MBA Program is a difficult one. Due to the limited number of spaces available and the competitiveness of the applicant pool, we are often faced with difficult choices among eligible applicants. The application review process includes a thorough evaluation of each candidate's work history, academic record, test scores, leadership experiences, and professional goals. While there were positive aspects to your application, your overall profile was not as competitive as those who were offered admission this year. Thank you for your efforts in applying to the Kelley School of Business. I wish you success as you pursue your academic and professional goals. Sincerely, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid

I too got dinged. Though the mail is generic, we can ask them for feedback. Most of the schools are happy to discuss the reasons for rejection. I did the same last year for several schools. However, it would be better if we ask for the reason after a couple of months when they would be free.
