Welcome everyone to the Kelley Full-time MBA 2018 Intake Class forum. Let's use this topic - to discuss the reasons why we decided to apply to Kelley; - to share and discuss application strategies; - to share your application/interview experience; - to discuss scholarship opportunities; - and much more!
Is Kelley still sending out interview invites for international applicants as part of Round 2? Also as a generic question, in comparison to R1 and R2, what are chances for a R3 international applicant ?
Some notes on my interview. This was a blind interview, the adcom only had my resume. It was very conversational. The adcom spend a considerable time talking up Kelley.
Questions I was asked
1. Why do you want an MBA? Why now? 2. Why have you chosen this career path? 3. Why Kelley? 4. What is something positive your colleagues or manager would say about you? 5. What is something they would say you need to work on? 6. What is something you would change about your professional journey? 7. Do you have any concerns about getting an MBA? 8. Anything else you would like me to know? 9. Questions for the adcom
I'll share my interview experience too. Very conversational with a 2nd-year student. The interview lasted about 20 minutes and we spent about 10 minutes on my questions/chatting. I hope it helps future applicants!
1. Walk me through your resume 2. Why MBA 3. Why Kelley 4. Goals 5. What's your leadership style? 6. How do you contribute to the team? 7. What do you do in your free time? 8. Failure 9. Any questions to the student?
I'm sure there were 2-3 more questions but I do not remember what they were. There was no curveball or off-guard questions. Good luck!

I believe they finished up international interviews (at least face to face) this week.
Any R2 applicants from India who are yet to receive an interview invite? Still haven't got mine and I don't think I will get one now Do they send out any rejection emails as well?
I'm from India and have applied to Kelley in round 2. In the same boat as you.
I've heard that they do send out rejection mails. The only thing to do is to wait I guess.
