Anticipation building. UNC is the dream after visiting campus. I interviewed both at Duke and UNC and the vibe at UNC was more of what I am looking for in an MBA. Hope to get some good news here soon. Will commit same day lol

I had the same exact feeling. I had unscheduled visits with Duke/UNC in the same day. UNC seemed much more welcoming and the staff was much more open to speaking with me (they said 10 min, we were there for an hour). Building and campus was much nicer at UNC. I always thought I'd automatically pick Duke over UNC but may not be the case.

Also, I did receive an 'application complete' email today, even though I got an interview invite on Monday. Not sure what the 'app complete' email indicates.

Yea glad I am not the only one that got that vibe They were extremely welcoming and tried to make a great experience for all that visit. Thought dukes visit experience lacked a bit and got a intense vibe which I did enjoy and dislike at the same time. I would "fit" much better at UNC

Today I got an "application complete and sent to review" mail from UNC. I did not see anyone receiving this mail. Could anyone please confirm if they have received the same and if yes, then what are the timelines after which you got the interview invite post this mail.

16th December - interview invitation email

Anyone apply in R2 getting nervous/excited about February 1?! Does no phone call over the weekend of January 29-31 indicate any kind of red flag for the applicant? I feel like most schools stay firm to the decision release date and don't make phone calls, but I've heard otherwise with Kenan-Flagler. Did some people get in without getting a phone call over the weekend before the release date? I know R1 decisions were released on December 14, which was also a Monday.

Wondering if they'll do the same unofficial phone call this weekend. It would really ease my mind. Feb 1 seems so far :|

I hope they do.. after being dinged by Emory, I need something to prevent my weekend from being a lousy one!

I got a call today! There was no request to keep it a secret or anything. Also, I didn't get any details about scholarships over the phone. I was told that I would receive a package in the mail on Monday.
