Hi,
So, I got mail from Krannert saying that they have put me on waitlist. I just wanted to know what are chances of getting it converted into admit.
Also, What is the deadline for R2 people to make the final decision. So that I can make out, how long should I wait ?

pankajvashist Dude, all the best. The decision date for admitted students is 14th April. I have seen people getting converted their wait list in Krannert. I would advise you to be in touch with the admission office.

Hi All,

I had my R2 interview today and it was a very short interview. lasted only for 17 mins.
Now it worries me, it was the shortest interview i attended.

Any thoughts ?

Mine was also similarly short and I got admitted. Dont worry about it. I think its a good sign if anything.

I have a bud that gets it within 3 days of his interview, but he was an alumni.

Hence, i think if you know an alum who can vouch for you - you'd be doing no harm to your candidacy.

They do rolling admissions so you should hear within a week or two I would say.

Guys,

Need your suggestion.
I got admission offers from Krannert & Scheller and the difference in their tuition fee after deducting the scholarship is around 40K USD. Is it worth spending 40K USD more on Scheller considering that post MBA I want to get into Product Management.

Got into Kelley as well but no information about its scholarship, so not considering it as of now.

GaTech and Purdue are both world renowned Engineering School.

However, GaTech is in Atlanta, while West Lafayette is 1 hr North of Indianapolis, and 2 hrs South of Chicago (not in a big city).

The companies that hires in both of the schools are little different as well.

Hi All,
I recently got accepted to the EMBA program and am pretty excited. Does anyone know the reputation of the program regionally and globally?

For decisioning, does the ranking really matter vs. Duke vs. Darden, etc. ? I'm not looking to be a consultant, but I would love to be a VP/SVP level ops/tech.
