That's really helpful - I definitely want to get the official tour while getting on time to my interview. Thanks, ryguy!

Try to go on a Thursday if you can. You can get in a morning Q&A, building tour, class visit, lunch, another class visit, interview, and then a happy hour!
In the chat today, Doug of the adcom said that we should have received some confirmation of our request to stay on the waitlist. Did anybody receive that? I'm a little concerned because I didn't see anything...

I got an email on Tuesday confirming my spot on the waitlist.
On another note, I thought this quote from a 2007 waitlist chat was interesting...
Quote:
SoojinKwonKohRoss (Mar 27, 2007 4:01:35 PM) We will begin reviewing our waitlist in mid-May and continue through the summer.

Now Ross will start reviewing R1 waitlisters with the R2 set of apps. It will be interesting to see how many get off the waitlist compared to years past!

Someone asked this question on the WL chat and Soojin's response was that the WL policy is no different from previous years. But at some point she also mentioned that they review the waitlist at the end of each round in the past too though very few were actually admitted until after R3. Another interesting comment was that the size of WL is larger this year.

Hmmm... very interesting, I'll have to read the chat when it gets posted. I also noticed this from the updated Waitlist FAQ on the Ross website:

The majority of decisions on waitlisted applicants will occur in May and June.

Since I've got an R1 school to make a decision on in April, I don't hold out much hope for a response from Ross in time.
Does Ross have any separate website to check application status? Apart from the automated response that my application has been submitted, I have not received any other mail from them on status or currently under review. Is it same for everyone?
Whooo whooo I have an interview. Finally, the wait was killing me!
For those would don't know already, Ross' system does not update your interview status. You have to recieve a code VIA EMAIL to register for an interview. (Kinda strange I know, however I've read that they will call you if you don't respond within a certain time)
Here are you instructions.
You are invited to interview between January 27-February 13. In order to accept our invitation to interview, you must complete the following steps:
Step 1: Determine your interview option. Option 1- Interview on campus in Ann Arbor. Any type of interview is completely acceptable, however, we prefer you come to campus if you are able. Option 2- Interview with an alumnus in your area.
Step 2 (options 1 &2): Send an updated copy of your resume in Word format (file named “LastName_FirstName”) via email to [email protected]. Please make the subject line of your email “Accept Interview [Your Full Name]”
Step 3 Option 1: Please sign up for an available Full-Time MBA on-campus interview at: https://events.embark.com/interview/umich/mba/search.asp after you have submitted a copy of your resume. Step 3 Option 2: Reply to this message changing the subject line to “Request Alumni Interview Information”. Please include the metro area where you would like to interview. You will receive contact information for an alumnus in that area. You do not need to use the scheduling site above.
Your Application ID number is 123456789. Please give this number to your interviewer at the beginning of your interview.
