The 13 cities that interviews will be conducted in for R2 does not feature any Indian city. Any hints?

Some hints, yes. But a fool can dream.

Anybody from Hong Kong, or more generally the APAC region, got an invite?

Got an invite yesterday - also confirming most (all) invites seem to be for the Cambridge location.

Congrats speedilly!

If you've signed up for your interview already, do the potential interview dates give you the sense that they may be done with Cambrdige invites already?

Keeping fingers crossed for a Cambridge interview invite of my own in a future wave.

Hard to say. Assuming a 13% acceptance rate and ~4500 applications, that's ~585 offers of admission. Assuming you have a 50% shot of acceptance after interview, that's 1170 interviews. The rest is a crapshoot - based on past data, ~60% of the class is from North America, which is ~700. Assuming, worst case, that ~43% of those people are from the northeast (again, hard to actually know, but basing this on employment location statistics), that's around 300 people to interview around Cambridge.

I did notice that the available interview slots were only over a 2 week (10 day) period. This would mean doing around 30 interviews per day, again, in the worst case scenario, which is definitely doable but could be exhausting. I wouldn't be surprised if they did another two weeks of interviews in Cambridge. Don't give up, but also don't obsess over it! It'll happen when/if it happens! Good luck!

Edit: ~half that amount for the R1/R2 split

speedilly, that's an MIT-like quant based breakdown if I've ever seen one. Best of luck with your interview!

For those who haven't yet received invites, I received mine on the first day and could choose an interview date between 2/27 and 3/10. However, it's interesting to note that a link included in the email had a signup for the ambassadors program for interviewee invites in Cambridge - which ranged for an additional week. I think if you receive your invite next week, you'll likely be able to pick a date the week after 3/10 as well. But that's just speculation from an observation.

If you picked Cambridge, don't lose hope just yet.

Without any interview hubs in India - how does Sloan plan to interview Indian candidates in round 2?
